Position Summary:

The Consulting Team Manager oversees the team in Pune and acts as the technical lead in the completion of managed service offerings, which includes raw data analysis, maintenance of performance and risk statistic calculations, creation of marketing materials and investor reports, and liaison with internal stakeholders.  The individual in this position will oversee hiring, training, quality of work, and supervise the professional growth of junior personnel.  The individual will also be responsible for developing and maintaining desktop procedures as well as the creation of reporting metrics and presentation to the US leadership team.

 

Job Duties:
 

  • Review detailed analysis of composite membership, firm assets under management and composite and portfolio accounting data, calculate performance statistics in accordance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®), and confirm data is accurately recorded and disclosed in marketing / advertising materials
  • Document all procedures necessary to complete various offerings from start to finish
  • Oversee the preparation of service deliverables
  • Stay abreast of changes and updates to the GIPS standards and applicable laws and regulations
  • Perform ad hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives
  • Monitor and ensure target completion dates and client expectations are met.
  • Participate in creating ACA internal “best practices” for the delivery of client services
  • Provide direction and guide junior colleagues on novel or complex performance issues and delivery of results to clients and/or internal staff as needed
  • Help facilitate and support HR in hiring processes, review curriculum vitae, and participate in new hire interviews.
  • Implement and follow new hire onboarding procedures
  • Supervise, train, evaluate, oversee, and provide feedback to junior colleagues
  • Serve as the technical resource on projects and communicate solutions in practical, understandable terms to colleagues
  • Review employee utilization and timeliness of supervisees’ timecards submission
  • Evaluate and communicate the team’s performance against quality control metrics, and resolve any issues in a timely fashion.

 

 

Required Experience:
 

1. Minimum of six (6) years of previous work experience in investment management, accounting, or financial services

2. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience

 

Preferred Experience:
 

  • Investment management industry experience specifically private market investments
  • Working knowledge of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
