The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Client Data Specialist to join ACA Mirabella’s Data and Implementations Team. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day clients’ data onboarding, assisting the client implementation team with data quality issues and helping to identify data inconsistencies.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be a team player, solution driven and be able to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders to simplify complex data problems. Self initiative to learn in a challenging, fast-paced and developing regulatory environment is an asset.
The position requires strong analytical skills, and a passion for data integrity and quality. Core responsibilities involve the seamless integration and management of client data obtained from various external systems into our internal control framework.
What you’ll do:
- Day-to-day ownership of clients’ data onboarding process, including ongoing collaboration with departments and updating internal documentation (FAQs, Data Samples, Data Specs, etc.)
- Recognise and understand potential data inconsistencies and reconcile appropriately to preserve data integrity.
- Identify data quality issues through analysis and work with other departments to resolve them.
- Assist with data mapping and help resolve any data inconsistency issues detected.
- Work closely with internal teams and clients to address data quality issues and enhance data workflows.
- Ensure timely and accurate response to internal and external data requests. Provide support to clients on data submission processes and data related enquiries.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data onboarding processes, client data specifications, and data mappings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data onboarding efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is preferred, however a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer or Data Science and acumen of the financial industry will also be considered.
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience, working with large data sets preferable in the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work with personnel at all levels.
- Able to work independently and be resourceful, with excellent time management skills.
- Experience in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment.
- Self-driven to learn more about the financial services industry, regulation and relevant reporting and best-practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and ability to work under pressure.

- SQL/Python.
