Position Summary
The Manager, IT Systems is responsible for driving their team to be successful and ensuring all deliverables are met including the architecture, design, implementation, and management of the technology systems utilized by ACA Group (“ACA”). This position needs to understand the IT vision and help drive the changes to realizing the vision. This position is expected to help the team adapt to new ideas and would be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements within IT Systems. Execution of assigned tasks on time and on quality with limited oversight and assistance from others. Serves as a guide to others to help prioritize all the asks across multiple constituencies. When faced with challenge, works to first self-resolve before seeking out others.
Job Duties
- Assist with the development and execution of ACA’s overall IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term goals.
- Manage the IT System Administrator team, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure platform availability, performance, and scalability, including the design and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Monitor IT operations and service delivery metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Design, implement, and maintain ACA’s infrastructure across Office 365, Azure, and AWS environments, in collaboration with technical leads.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new or replacement systems to support evolving business needs and technology trends.
- Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Drive the consolidation and retirement of legacy systems to streamline operations and reduce technical debt.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices across all IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure successful implementation.
- Manage portions of the IT budget, including forecasting, cost control, and procurement planning.
- Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and service level management.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, particularly in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and AI, and assess their applicability to ACA’s environment.
- Lead or contribute to ad-hoc work and special projects as necessary to support ACA’s internal and client facing initiatives.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or three years of practical experience in related information security role.

- Skilled in one or more scripting languages, preferably to include PowerShell.
