Hybrid New York (two days per week in the office) 

 

The Cyber Sales Specialist is a critical role responsible for promoting and selling ACA Aponix/cybersecurity and risk advisory products/offerings to potential customers. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the products, excellent communication and sales skills, and the ability to build strong customer relations to drive sales and meet revenue goals.  This role is responsible for prospecting and acquiring new clients for ACA’s cybersecurity products and services, managing the entire sales cycle, and meeting sales quotas by building relationships and demonstrating solutions. 

 

What you’ll do:  

  • Prospecting, engaging, and closing business for the ACA Aponix/cyber security business unit.  
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product(s) and serve as a subject matter expert of features, specifications, and benefits.  
  • Lead the outbound sales strategy, including targeted outreach, networking and cold calling to generate qualified leads. (Desire for a minimum of 3 in person meetings per week in NYC with clients and prospects) 
  • Listen to customer needs, identify their challenges, and propose tailored solutions. Position the product as the ideal solution for the customers’ specific requirements.  
  • Conduct and report detailed data analysis and research additional market opportunities for potential and existing ACA products and services.  
  • Prepare and present quotes and pricing structures to customers.  
  • Negotiate and close sales effectively, even through challenging customer needs.  
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas quarter over quarter.  
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitors to identify opportunities or threats.  
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities and forecasts.  
  • Represent ACA, as a participant or exhibitor at industry events and conferences. 

 

To Qualify for the role, you will have:  

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 
  • 2-4 years of experience in product sales with a focus on selling specific products and services  

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Understanding of industry, market, and competitive landscape. 
  • Deep understanding of cyber market, key competitors and growth opportunities. 
  • Understands alternative investment and all sub-segment clients and their need to buy cyber advisory services.  
  • Client presentation experience to manage escalations, projects and support cross/upsell would be preferred.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to explain technical details. 
  • Prior sales experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) and enterprise software (desirable).  
  • Prior sales experience with professional services (desirable).  
  • Demonstrated professional integrity.  
  • Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs.  
  • Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance.  
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment. 
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.  
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients. 
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.  
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients or attend industry events. 
  • Results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

The cash compensation range we have provided has been benchmarked against similar organizations of comparable size, sector, and age. Our offers of employment consider a variety of factors, including but not limited to, unique skill sets, specific expertise or certifications and business/organizational needs. It is not typical for us to hire talent at the top of the range for a role, in part because it’s so important to us to allow all ACA employees the opportunity to develop over time, and to feel rewarded for doing so. Our listed range is a reasonable estimate of the total yearly compensation. 

 

 

Salary Range: $ 111K- $181K OTE (includes commission target)
