About the Role
We are seeking a Managing Director of Product to lead the software strategy for our Research Compliance Solutions (RCS) offering within ACA’s Managed Services business.
RCS delivers compliance solutions that help regulated financial firms manage risks associated with expert network interactions. Our offering includes:

Pre-call expert screening

Live expert network call chaperoning

AI-powered expert network call chaperoning and research document compliance
These solutions combine software and managed services to deliver comprehensive surveillance and compliance coverage.
As Managing director of product you will own the software products supporting these offerings—defining product vision, managing the roadmap, and ensuring successful delivery in close partnership with offshore development teams and internal stakeholders.
This role is critical to advancing ACA’s position as a leader in AI-driven compliance, including the use of AI to detect material non-public information (MNPI) risk in expert network interactions.
Key Responsibilities

Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for RCS software solutions

Translate client needs, regulatory requirements, and operational insights into clear product requirements, epics, and user stories

Serve as the primary product interface to offshore development teams (via their project manager), ensuring delivery quality and alignment with business objectives

Partner with Managed Services teams to design and refine integrated software + service solutions

Collaborate closely with Customer Success to capture feedback, validate product enhancements, and drive adoption

Act as a Level 2 product expert supporting Sales and Sales Engineering on complex client inquiries and solution positioning

Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Managed Services, and Go-To-Market teams

Monitor product performance and usage to measure outcomes and inform roadmap decisions

Lead the evolution of AI-driven capabilities, including models and workflows used to identify compliance risks such as MNPI

Stay current on regulatory developments, expert network dynamics, and emerging technologies shaping the compliance landscape
Required Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field
-
7–10 years of experience in product management or product ownership

Demonstrated experience owning and delivering software products in a cross-functional environment

Experience working with offshore or distributed development teams

Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations (with a business-oriented mindset)

Proven ability to translate complex business or regulatory requirements into actionable product solutions
Preferred Experience
-
Experience in financial services, compliance, or regulatory technology (RegTech)

Familiarity with expert networks, research workflows, or communications surveillance
-
Experience building or managing AI/ML-driven products, particularly in risk detection, surveillance, or NLP-based applications

Experience working in a SaaS or cloud-native platform environment
