Role Overview

The Marketing Project Manager will serve as the central manager for marketing initiatives across business units, ensuring timely execution, alignment with strategic goals, and operational efficiency. This role will be responsible for building and managing projects in Asana, supporting BU marketers with campaign execution, and driving process improvements across the marketing function.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Asana Oversight

  • Build and manage marketing projects in Asana using approved templates, naming conventions, and standard SOPs.
  • Ensure projects are housed within the correct BU boards and tagged appropriately for visibility.
  • Maintain project timelines, dependencies, and task assignments to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address bottlenecks or delays. Holistically adjust timelines for projects, where necessary.

BU Marketer Support

  • Partner with BU marketers to translate campaign strategies into actionable project plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs (e.g., design, content, digital) to support campaign execution.
  • Assist in refining campaign deliverables to meet brand, tone, and editorial standards.

Initiative Coordination

  • Support special projects such as channel and corporate marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing operations and digital teams to align project execution with broader marketing goals.
  • Assist in identifying and executing internal communications for projects.

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

  • Review tasks and content for clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Maintain documentation, templates, and process guides to support scalable execution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience and 3–5 years of experience in marketing project management or campaign operations.
  • Proficiency in Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with marketing workflows, including campaign planning, content development, and digital execution.
