The Opportunity:
The individual in this position works with and supports supervisors, relationship managers, account owners, and engagement leads for Expert Network Chaperoning. Consultants typically have supervisory, training, and/or subject matter expertise responsibilities in addition to their expertise and support on managed services engagements. Consultants are expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding the regulations, best practices, and nuances associated with the products and services they engage in.
What you’ll do:
- Own the overall experience, health, and growth of assigned client relationships
- Oversee client relationships, including onboarding new clients, setting scope and workflow expectations, communicating findings, tracking budgets, reviewing invoices, answering questions, and ensuring client expectations and contractual obligations are met
- Manage client quotas and be accountable for client deliverables
- Support day-to-day expert network chaperoning operations
- Partner closely with expert networks as well as clients to ensure smooth execution and collaboration
- Ensure the expert network chaperoning business remains sustainable, scalable, and aligned with client expectations
- Work cross functionally across the Research Compliance Solutions team, including collaborating directly with the Encore and Call Compliance teams
- Develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the Research Compliance Solutions business and Managed Services offerings
- Identify opportunities for client growth or expanded support across other Managed Services delivery teams
- Support and/or lead managed services projects with other supervisors, relationship managers, account owners, and project leads
- Train new staff on regulations, policies, and procedures in one-on-one and small group settings
- Participate in training and career development via assigned courses/curriculums, supervisor instruction, and other training opportunities
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree; major or concentration in compliance, criminal justice, law, business, accounting, finance, and/or economics preferred
- At least three years of industry experience serving in a regulatory compliance role
- Experience working within or adjacent to the expert network industry
- Direct expert network experience is strongly preferred
- Strong client‑facing and customer‑service orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
