The Opportunity:
The individual in this position is primarily responsible for assisting ACA’s Legal Department with preparing, negotiating, tracking, and organizing client engagement agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts. The individual in this position is also responsible for assisting the Legal Department with a variety of projects across a range of areas and will be integral to its efficient operation.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with preparing, negotiating, tracking, and organizing client engagement agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts, under the oversight of senior contract personnel
- Communicate and interact with ACA clients, service providers, internal stakeholders, and others regarding delivery of contracts and other information under the oversight of senior contract personnel
- Assist with maintaining ACA’s corporate records and legal files
- Assist with scheduling and the preparation of materials and notes/minutes in connection with corporate governance matters
- Assist with creating, maintaining and updating Legal Department templates and files
- Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- One year’s prior experience as a contracts specialist or paralegal required

- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
- Willing to undertake minimal travel
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Contract drafting experience and/or in an in-house setting
- Certificate in paralegal studies or contracts

Salary Range: $65 - 70K
