The Sales Engineer will be responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of the pre-sale engagement with prospects. You will assist in driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts and meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals.
What you’ll do:
- Understand the competitive landscape and key differentiators of the ACA products/offerings.
- Constantly remain up to speed with respect to all current developments and enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver high quality, technical software demonstrations, live or remotely, to professionals from leading firms.
- Display strong technical acumen with an ability to confer with customers and assess their requirements.
- Take a consultative approach to identify customer pain points and help clients solve their problems using Alpha.
- Effectively handle potential client objections and be able to adapt the demonstration of functional product capabilities to meet clients’ needs.
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders from procurement through delivery by demonstrating the benefits and value proposition.
- Build trusted relationships internally with ACA consultants, sales team members, and product team members.
To Qualify for the role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical related field but business, finance, business management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, solution engineer, or a related role.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Understanding of industry, market, and the competitive landscape
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain complex technical concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) and enterprise software (desirable).
- Prior experience with professional services (desirable).
- Demonstrated professional integrity.
- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs.
- Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients or attend industry events.
- Results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

The cash compensation range we have provided has been benchmarked against similar organizations of comparable size, sector, and age. Our offers of employment consider a variety of factors, including but not limited to, unique skill sets, specific expertise or certifications and business/organizational needs. It is not typical for us to hire talent at the top of the range for a role, in part because it’s so important to us to allow all ACA employees the opportunity to develop over time, and to feel rewarded for doing so. Our listed range is a reasonable estimate of the total yearly compensation.
Salary Range: $73,000-$105,000. includes commission
