The Opportunity
This role is responsible for building and leading the reporting and analytics function for Managed Services. The Senior Manager, Data & Analytics will assess the current state, define a clear approach to reporting and analytics, and stand up a scalable function from the ground up.
This is a hands-on role requiring both direct execution and the leadership of a small team. The ideal candidate is a player-coach who operates independently, brings structure to an unformed environment, and delivers immediate value while building for scale. This role goes beyond reporting—requiring interpretation, investigation, and challenge of data to understand performance drivers and form a clear point of view.
Job Duties
- Assess the current state of data, reporting, and analytics across Managed Services, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities
- Define and implement a reporting and analytics strategy aligned with business priorities
- Build core reporting and dashboards from the ground up, establishing a clear and consistent reporting framework
- Define and standardize key performance metrics across teams
- Lead forecasting efforts for volume, capacity, and turnaround times
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting
- Manage and develop a team of two (2) analysts while remaining hands-on in analysis and output
- Prioritize and balance immediate reporting needs with the development of scalable, structured solutions
- Partner with leadership to translate business needs into actionable insights
- Drive adoption of reporting tools and promote consistent, effective data usage in decision-making
- Bring structure and discipline to reporting processes, reducing ad hoc and duplicative work over time
- Go beyond reporting to interpret performance, identify drivers, and explain business outcomes
- Investigate inconsistencies or unexpected trends, identifying root causes rather than accepting outputs at face value
- Form a clear point of view on performance and communicate insights and implications to leadership
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business context and connect data to operational activity
- Challenge assumptions and surface risks, gaps, or issues reflected in the data
What Success Looks Like

- Core dashboards and reporting are built, adopted, and trusted

- The team is productive, aligned, and delivering consistent output
- The function evolves from reactive requests to structured and proactive insights
