The Opportunity:
The Senior Principal Consultant (DS) will have management, training, and/or subject matter expertise responsibilities for the Dealer Services function, in addition to their expertise and support on mutual fund distribution enggeents.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee operations of the department.
- Manage the hiring and onboarding of new Dealer Services staff, as well as monitor staffing needs.
- Coordinate training and management of new and existing staff.
- Provide ongoing feedback to supervisees to facilitate professional development.
- Provide metrics reporting for the department.
- Oversee client relationships, including onboarding new clients, setting scope and workflow expectations,answering questions, and ensuring client expectations and contractual obligations are met.
- Manage initiatives and special projects to improve efficiencies and streamline department processes,administration, systems, tools and technology.
- Develop and implement plans and objectives for the department in an effective and innovative fashion
- Up-to-date knowledge regarding the regulations, best practices, and nuances associated with theproducts and services department engages in.
- Manage and support thought leadership and other initiatives to promote ACA’s sales and marketingefforts.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 6 years working in a financial services environment with a working knowledge of securities andsecurities markets
- Minimum 4 years working in or at investment operations, client service, a distributor or a transfer agency
- Strong strategic decision-making skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Major or concentration in business, finance, economics, accounting or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience
- Management or supervisory experience
