Position Summary:



The right candidate for this role will be a hands-on Salesforce Administration specialist with background in process methodologies, functional analysis, detailed use case documentation and Salesforce product knowledge/technology including the latest Lightning technologies. The candidate will be responsible to work closely with business on requirement analysis to extend/enhance the Salesforce platform in alignment with business strategy, maintain functional specifications, collaborate with development, and QA teams to support Salesforce implementations. 

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Act as the voice of the customer in all programs and efforts to ensure customer focus at all levels Proactively communicate and collaborate with key business stakeholders to develop and enhance relationships  
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce Platform, and perform functional and second-level technical support as needed  
  • Partner with cross functional teams (business, IT, and project) to produce requirements and design for business capabilities that align to Salesforce services business and technology strategies.  
  • Proactively analyze data to uncover opportunities for streamlining operations and devising innovative solutions to complex challenges. 
  • Create and maintain documentation of key artifacts, processes and system functionality/tools using Agile Scrum methodologies.  
  • Design, create and implement software modifications, enhancements, and integrate new applications to client’s existing Salesforce platform  
  • Create technical requirements for developers and provide suggestions during the development stage that meet the customer's business needs.  
  • Communicate the associated business impacts of system and data changes to stakeholders  
  • Participate in the analysis, testing and deployment of changes to Salesforce as well as third party integrated systems  
  • Assist business analysts in the creation of scripts to be utilized during user acceptance testing (UAT) process.  
  • Perform User Story testing and validation to ensure successful deployment of features to Production 
  • Work with the internal training organization to ensure new functionality is clearly documented and is reflected accurately in training materials  
  • Successfully initiate, plan, implement, and close all project deliverables as committed  
  • Monitor new Salesforce/Certinia ERP release features/functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.   
  • Advise on the suitability and adaptability to the existing client’s Salesforce/Certinia ERP implementation. 

 

Required Education and Experience:
 

1+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration and administration experience  

1+ years of Salesforce CPQ configuration and administration experience 

1+ years of Certinia ERP Cloud configuration administration experience 

3+ years as a business systems analyst or equivalent role working with complex application development projects. 

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or similar or equivalent business experience

 

Required Skills and Attributes:
 

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. 

Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills 

Consulting experience or working with consulting organization highly desirable 

Firsthand experience in large, global implementations using Salesforce CPQ, Contract Life Management System (CLM), Certinia ERP Cloud.  

Experience working in an IT Agile team. 

Salesforce and Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) Administrator Certification are preferred
