Position Summary:

The role of senior analyst, in the Centers of Expertise, testing team, is primarily responsible for performing external and web application penetration tests for ACA Aponix® clients as well as the delivering of detailed findings reports to the client. The role is also responsible for researching emerging techniques, supporting internal team initiatives, and maintaining and deploying team infrastructure and software.

Job Duties:

 

  1. Conduct external based network penetration testing and reconnaissance against client environments.
  2. Assist with web application penetration tests and client deliverables.
  3. Review and communicate findings to clients and draft and deliver technical and executive reports covering testing results.
  4. Assist with vishing, phishing, and social engineering engagements.
  5. Evaluate client vulnerabilities.
  6. Assist with the maintenance of the testing teams’ hardware and software.
  7. Perform testing related research special projects such as technical research, configuring network infrastructure, building automation scripts, deploying software, etc. as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives.


Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field preferred; alternatively, five (5) years of information security, information technology, or development experience.
2. Up to five (5) years of experience in information security or information technology.
3. Solid technical experience in information security architectures including network, application, cloud, and mobility domains.
4. Ability to communicate effectively and provide guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
5. Strong hands-on technology expertise in at least one technology domain (e.g., infrastructure, development, or information security).
