About ACA:

ACA was founded in 2002 by four former SEC regulators and one former state regulator. The founders saw a need for investment advisers to receive expert guidance on existing and new regulations. Over the years, ACA has grown both organically and by acquisition to expand our GRC business and technology solutions. Our services now include GIPS standards verification, cybersecurity and technology risk, regulatory technology, ESG advisory, AML and financial crimes, financial and regulatory reporting, and Mirabella for establishing EU operations.

Your key responsibilities

• Communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
• Provide technical support and data analysis to internal and external users for a security master solution housing global securities fundamentals, corporate actions, and market data across all asset classes.
• Evaluate, integrate, and support relationships with financial market data vendors, including key developments, company news, end-of-day and intraday (tick level) data.
• Assist in developing and carrying out automated and manual test procedures.
• Implement, support, and scale solutions that store and process large amounts of data (time series and reference data) in SQL databases or other appropriate data stores.
• Work together with the technical architects, client implementation team, and infrastructure team to develop, test, and maintain the core platform API and data model.
• Follow fast-paced, agile processes, and assist with planning and estimation of sprint deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Understanding of financial symbology, global exchanges, asset classes (including derivatives), corporate actions.
• Experience with integrating with data vendors, data validation and analysis, and issue tracking.
• Excellent knowledge of .Net Core, C#, SQL and/or No-SQL databases.
• Experience building high-performance RESTful API.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS infrastructure as code (ideally, CDK).
• Understanding of data privacy, encryption, and secure coding best practices.
