Position Summary:
The individual in the role of Analyst, Cash Application is primarily responsible for processing payments received from ACA clients as well being responsible for project reviews and reconciliations when there are questions about the individual project or client account.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for applying payments based on payment remittances and instructions from the clients as well as in accordance with the Desktop procedures.
2. Performs daily reconciliation of payments received to bank statements.
3. Booking of other ad hoc journals bank Charges, interest, etc.
4. Processing of credit card and automated ACH payments.
5. Resolving internal/external client queries in a professional manner.
6. Participates in cross functional workstreams to resolve business process issues.
7. Consistently share accurate information to all inter-dependent groups, adhering to strict deadlines 8. Manage and process refunds as required.
9. Support audit requests including annual and statutory audit.
10. Accountable to perform the posting of payments within the SLA period and ensure any unapplied payments are addressed by month end within agreed tolerance limits.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in accounting cash application
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university
