Position Summary:
As an Associate Product Owner for Enterprise Systems, you will support the Product Owner in defining and delivering enterprise-grade solutions that meet customer and business needs. You will bring your budding Product Owner talents and agile sensibilities to an environment where some of the platforms are delivered as SaaS while others are implemented/customized internally. The goal of the Product function is threefold then: to influence vendor roadmaps when necessary, to build internal backlogs, and to create an integrated vision and roadmap for the entire quote to cash landscape. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and stakeholders to ensure product features are well-defined, prioritized, and executed effectively.
Job Duties:
1. Own assigned system modules or epics and gather and document business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pain points, opportunities, and desired outcomes.
3. Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized.
4. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
5. Support the Product Owner in roadmap planning and release management.
6. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate feature delivery against requirements.
7. Analyze product performance and user feedback to inform future enhancements.
8. Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.

10. Create mockups and prototypes to support roadmap direction
11. Tracking metrics for measurement of business outcomes gained from implemented solutions

Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles
3. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
4. ‘Working knowledge’ of salesforce.com/force.com platform, Business Process Automation Tools, IT Service Management Systems, WorkDay, or other back-office systems
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Visio are a plus.
Required Skills and Attributes
1. Understanding of enterprise software or SaaS platforms.
2. Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP systems.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
4. Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
5. Ability to set priorities
6. Ability to facilitate collaborative decision-making, experience with Design Thinking
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
8. Demonstrated ability to understand the big picture solution and then craft requirements into actionable use cases, epics, user stories
9. Demonstrated leadership in a Behavior Driven Development/Gherkin environment
10. Demonstrated success in owning a technology platform and creating measurable business outcomes
11. Demonstrated professional integrity
