The Development Manager is responsible for leading a team to establish, maintain, operate, and support enterprise systems. The individual in this position is also responsible for the recruitment process of their immediate team as well as in the management of that team.
Job Duties
- A relentless pursuit of the burndown of each sprint to bring the most valuable items for our customers to fruition
- Leadership of team to ensure exceptional service
- Active partnership with Product Manager to advance the suite of applications
- Hands on participation in developing within Salesforce and other force.com applications
- Active participation in the refinement of the teams’ backlog
- Provide leadership in the continuous improvement of the scrum team
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience, inclusive of Salesforce development, team leadership, and people management
- Strong experience supporting applications in shared or virtual environments
- Experience with SQL DBMS interface and integrated tools
Required Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrated ability to develop solutions within SalesCloud (and ServiceCloud)
- Ability to speak directly to Finance and back office staff with sound financial acumen and process knowledge
- A solution-oriented style of conversation with a customer-centric approach to problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to partner with Product Owners to ensure technical implementation is able to meet immediate business needs while being flexible for future changes
- Ability to recount tales of shepherding and advocacy
- Collaboration amongst teammates to clearly define and estimate user stories
- Demonstrated professional integrity
- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
