Position Summary
The IT Security Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of the security related technology systems utilized by ACA Group (“ACA”).
This position needs to understand the IT vision and work towards realizing it. Individuals would be responsible for finding ways to apply departmental new ideas into their daily work. This position needs a self-starter who works to improve their own effectiveness as well as provides ad-hoc suggestions for broader improvements for IT Security Systems. Execution of assigned tasks on time and on quality with some oversight and assistance from others.
Job Duties
- Hands-on experience with AWS-native security tools such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, and Detective.
- Hands-on experience with SASE platforms (e.g., Netskope, Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma or equivalent).
- Analyze security events and incidents sourced from AWS telemetry and SASE platforms to identify threats, anomalies, and suspicious activity.
- Experience with change management & ticketing systems (Jira & Zendesk or equivalents).
- Participate in vulnerability scanning and assessment efforts, leveraging AWS Inspector and related tooling to identify and prioritize remediation.
- Support due-diligence and audit activities, collecting and presenting evidence from AWS environments and SASE platforms as required.
- Assist with containment and mitigation of security incidents, utilizing AWS Security Hub playbooks, GuardDuty findings, and SASE event data.
- Identify gaps, vulnerabilities, exploits, and weaknesses in cloud and network security controls; produce mitigation recommendations based on AWS and SASE security best practices.
- Conduct technical reviews and security control assessments of AWS workloads, SASE integrations, and related IT systems.
- Handle escalations from 1st/2nd line support, especially for AWS account issues, SSO/SASE policy violations, and cloud security events.
- Perform ad‑hoc and special project work, supporting both internal initiatives and client-facing engagements involving AWS security or SASE deployments.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or three years of practical experience in related information security role.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Four years of practical experience in related information security role (e.g., SOC Analyst) Relevant cybersecurity professional certification (e.g., Sec+ CySA+ GSEC SSCP)
