Position Summary:
The Product Owner will bridge typical back office/financial operations and modern business agility and have ownership over our quote to cash landscape including Salesforce.com, WorkDay, and Certinia. The goal is threefold then: to influence vendor roadmaps when necessary, to build internal backlogs, and to create an integrated vision and roadmap for the entire quote to cash landscape. This role is one of a Product Owner with vertical experience in finance/sales/back office.
Job Duties:
- Own the Product roadmap and backlog for platforms and how they fit together
- Gather customer, business, and technical requirements and filter them down into backlogs
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions Influence vendor roadmaps
- Guide people and process discussions with financial/sales operations
- Ensure solutions meet current customer need
- Daily representation of the customer or end user in the scrum team to clarify questions on backlog items.
- Create mockups and prototypes to support roadmap direction
- Track metrics for measurement of business outcomes gained from implemented solutions
Required Experience:
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of increased responsibility experience as a Business Analyst and Product Owner.
- Vertical knowledge of financial and sales operations
- Working knowledge’ of salesforce.com/force.com platform, Business Process Automation Tools, IT Service Management Systems, WorkDay, or other back-office systems

- Demonstrated success in owning a technology platform and creating measurable business outcomes
- Ability to be effective in a growing and dynamic organization
- Takes initiative and assumes responsibility
