Position Summary:
The Project & Resource Management Support Team Supervisor leads a team that provides project coordination and resource management support to global delivery teams. This Pune-based, non-billable, non-client-facing leadership role is focused on people supervision. Ensuring team members perform at high standards, follow best practices, meet deadlines, and support PRMO operations effectively.
The Supervisor serves as a manager of people and performance, not as an individual contributor. This role will guide team productivity, foster continuous improvement, and act as a liaison to senior management to ensure alignment on goals and capacity planning.
Job Duties
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Supervise a team of project coordinators and resource management analysts
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development for all direct reports
- Conduct regular 1:1s, quarterly reviews, and annual performance evaluations
- Manage daily work allocation, workload balancing, and capacity planning
- Monitor and ensure adherence to SLAs, project documentation standards, and data accuracy metrics
- Resolve performance issues in a timely, empathetic, and structured manner
Operational Oversight
- Ensure team members complete timecards, utilization reports, and project updates on time
- Monitor accuracy of resource data and project support deliverables
- Track team metrics and produce reports on productivity, quality, and SLA adherence
- Partner with the Global PRMO Management team to forecast staffing needs and skill development plans
- Liaise with HR to manage hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, providing feedback, and recommending process enhancements
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for performance and operational matters related to the Pune-based team
- Maintain close alignment with global PRMO, and Delivery leadership to share updates and escalate issues
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and remove barriers for team success
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources, or related field. Minimum of four (4) years of managerial experience with in-depth understanding of the requirements to manage the day-to-day operations of a high performing team/function of 30+ employees
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a focus on employee development and engagement
- Ability to manage remote and hybrid teams effectively
- High attention to detail and accountability for meeting quality standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across departments
- Proficiency with Certinia PSA and/or Salesforce
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Education and Experience
- Background in a professional services, consulting, or resource management environment
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Certinia PSA, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Experience with performance metrics tracking, utilization dashboards, or SLA-driven work environments
- Exposure to global operations or multicultural teams
- Experience in governance, risk, and compliance environments or financial services is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Conga CLM, Salesforce CPQ, or other related platforms.
- Exposure to resource forecasting, capacity planning, or workforce management.
