Position Summary:
The Resource Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the effective allocation and management of resources for projects. This non-billable, non-client-facing position involves support for ACA’s US Reg business unit. The individual in this role is responsible for assisting with, project permissioning, workflow tracking, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Duties
- Provide operational support as assigned to facilitate team workflow
- Assist with workflow management, workflow tracking, project set up and assignments, project hand-off, and troubleshooting
- Participate in drafting policies, procedures, and standards as they relate to Operations processes and procedures
- Correspond with other ACA employees to solve timekeeping, reporting, and project tracking issues
- Assist in preparing reports and other documents as assigned
- Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supervision and resource management, workforce planning, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Certinia (PSA) or similar resource management technology
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments
- A commitment to providing exceptional service to internal customers
- Knowledge of project management and related business processes
- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior financial services / Governance, Risk, and Compliance work experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Conga CLM, and Salesforce CPQ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination across teams and external partners.
- Experience managing high-value and complex resources in a professional services consulting environment.
