Position Summary
Senior QA Analyst responsibilities include manual testing build test suites for end users, automate regression suites, and participate in refinements/estimation of work. This position will focus on an assigned enterprise applications, including but not limited to Salesforce, Certinia, and Workday, and will perform the rigorous testing and continuous improvement that are instrumental in driving excellence across the platform.
Job Duties
- Be the local champion for the global improvements in quality assurance within Enterprise Systems
- Produce manual and automated testing scenarios with appropriate feature coverage
- Collaborate with Product Owner to contribute to acceptance criteria authorship
- Contribute work product in each spring (test automation and/or application development)
- Collaborate on test scenario coverage during refinement
- Communicate clearly to team members and scrum master deliverable statuses, blockers and mitigation plans
- Guide end users in usage of the Test Management System for their UAT needs - Salesforce, Certinia, and Workday helpful
- Contribute to the transformation to Agile/scrum methodologies
- Other tasks, special projects and duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5-9 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally behavior and/or test driven development environment
- Proven success in guiding UAT community
- Past participation in user story refinement/estimation
- Working knowledge of designated platform (Salesforce, Certinia, WorkDay)
