Job Summary:



The role is highly skilled and detail-oriented Level 3 Support Analyst with a strong foundation in financial concepts, including transactions, holdings, and securities. This role is integral to the daily operations of our technology support team, with a specific focus on the personal trading components of ACA Technology platforms.  This includes identifying issues, troubleshooting, offering guidance on corrective measures, and managing system configurations.  This would include maintaining data integrity and providing support to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues within MS-SQL efficiently.  


Job Duties  

  • Perform in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of incidents related to clients' trades, holdings, and securities.
  • Fully manage support cases by logging, monitoring, updating, prioritizing, and resolving calls, emails, and indirect inquiries promptly. 

  • Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. 

  • Execute fixes, code enhancements, and optimizations with minimal assistance within MS SQL. 

  • Work collaboratively with developers and product owners to identify corrective actions or effective workarounds for incident resolution. 

  • Provide expert guidance on corrective actions and system configuration adjustments. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve data-related issues efficiently. 

  • Provide recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership, using insights to advocate for both internal and external users. 

  • Utilize MS-SQL to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical and data anomalies. 

  • Document processes, resolutions, and best practices to enhance team knowledge

 

Preferred Education and Experience 

  • Proficient in analytical skills, adept at resolving issues through troubleshooting. 

  • Familiarity with financial concepts, including understanding transactions, holdings, and securities. 

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a concentration in technology or finance. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills. 

  • Strong proficiency in MS SQL, with the ability to write, interpret, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures. 

  • Solid financial analytical skills, with a working knowledge of financial concepts such as transactions, holdings, and securities. 

  • Understanding of API calls and their role in data integration and system interoperability. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and effectively organize tasks in a dynamic environment. 

  • Proven success in fast-paced, small-team environments, with a collaborative and adaptable mindset. 

  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to self-learning and professional development. 

  • Willingness to contribute to both internal initiatives and client-facing projects. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with AWS services, particularly AWS CloudWatch. 

  • Familiarity with New Relic for application performance monitoring. 

  • Proficiency with Postman for API testing and validation.
