Position Summary:

The Senior Product Owner will lead the strategy and execution of the quote-to-cash product ecosystem, bridging back-office financial operations with modern business agility. This role owns platforms including Salesforce.com, Workday, and Certinia and is responsible for defining and delivering an integrated product vision across these systems.  

The Senior Product Owner operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, driving roadmap development, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions. This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and Technology leaders to translate business priorities into a strategic product roadmap and measurable outcomes. The role is also responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, data, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes across the quote-to-cash ecosystem. 

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Own and drive the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and backlog across the quote-to-cash ecosystem  
  • Lead prioritization decisions balancing business value, risk, and operational efficiency  
  • Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Technology, and Operations to define product direction and investment priorities  
  • Translate complex business, customer, and technical requirements into scalable product solutions  
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning; facilitate cross-functional alignment at both working and leadership levels  
  • Influence and negotiate vendor roadmaps to align third-party capabilities with ACA’s needs  
  • Act as the primary decision-maker for product tradeoffs, ensuring alignment between short-term delivery and long-term strategy  
  • Represent the voice of the business and end user within agile teams and provide clarity on priorities and acceptance criteria  
  • Drive process improvement and change management across financial and sales operations  
  • Develop mockups, prototypes, and business cases to support strategic decisions  
  • Define and track KPIs and business outcome metrics to measure success and inform roadmap decisions  
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced product owners or analysts and help elevate product practices across the organization 
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and user experience. 
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and Data teams to define integration, reporting, and data governance strategies across Salesforce, Workday, Certinia, and related enterprise platforms. 



Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field  
  • 7–10+ years of progressively responsible experience in product ownership, business analysis, or related roles (updated from 5+)  
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional product initiatives  
  • Strong domain expertise in financial systems and sales/back-office operations  
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Certinia, or similar
