Revenue Manager

The Opportunity:  

The Revenue Manager will oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with US. G.A.A.P. revenue recognition standards and provide supporting revenue analysis to all levels within the Company.  This position will play a pivotal role in the Quote-To-Cash transformation of ACA Group and will grow and develop a team of talented accountants to support our monthly Revenue Accounting activities.

 

What you’ll do:  

  • Proactively lead and/or perform period-end closing and operational activities in accordance with US GAAP standards
  • Review and/or prepare monthly management reports, analysis, and schedules as well as ad-hoc reporting
  • Support and/or manage internal and external audit work, including maintenance and updating of internal controls, operational effectiveness testing etc
  • Develop, recommend and implement process improvements that leverage technology and maximize overall efficiency while maintaining and/or strengthening internal controls
  • Proactively manage internal stakeholder expectations through monitoring and reporting key metrics on team’s performance relative to quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Support the Company’s new product initiatives by leading the design, development and change management in regard to revenue accounting
  • Participate in and support the ongoing Quote-To-Cash transformation project
  • Lead a team of 1-2 staff responsible for accounting for all revenue

 

To Qualify for the role, you will have:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree – major in accounting or finance
  • Five (5) or more combined years of progressively responsible experience; 2+ years in a management role
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606 and ASC 340
  • Demonstrated experience in developing revenue recognition documentation for external audits

Ideally, you’ll also have: 

  • CPA preferred.
  • Experience with Workday accounting system a plus, but not required
  • Salesforce, PSA, and Financial Force/Certinia experience a plus
  • Experience transforming backoffice operations
