Sales Engineer II-ESG

The Opportunity:  The Sales Engineer will be responsible for organizing, planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of the pre-sale engagement with prospects for ESG’s software and data solutions, Ethos (for public markets) and ACA Vantage for ESG (for private markets). You will assist in driving new business from prospective and existing ACA accounts and meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals. 

What you’ll do:

  • Be the primary product and technical expert throughout the sales cycle, with a focus on articulating the value of ACA’s ESG software, Ethos and ACA Vantage for ESG, in the context of each prospect’s unique needs.
  • Build a pipeline by conducting targeted outreach and executing product-focused campaigns.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and key differentiators of ACA’s ESG software and data solutions.
  • Constantly remain up to speed with respect to all current ESG software developments and enhancements.
  • Assist the sales team in leading tailored, value-driven pitches strongly focused on ESG data and methodology, and monitoring.
  • Prepare and deliver high quality, technical software demonstrations, live or remotely, to C-level and VP-level executives from leading firms.
  • Take a consultative approach to identify customer pain points and help clients solve their problems using Ethos / ACA Vantage for ESG.
  • Effectively handle potential client objections and be able to adapt the demonstration of functional product capabilities to meet clients’ needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders from procurement through delivery by demonstrating the benefits and value proposition.
  • Build trusted relationships internally with ACA consultants, sales team members, and product team members.

 

To Qualify for the role, you will have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in SaaS environments, supporting teams to land and expand clients’ portfolios.
  • 3 years of experience selling ESG software solutions, preferably working within asset managers and private fund managers.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and data methodology is highly desirable.

  • Team player – able to liaise with various internal stakeholders and work towards a team quota.
