Senior HR Business Partner

The Opportunity: The Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The Sr. HRBP serves as a consultant to employees and supervisors on human resources-related issues. The successful candidate will act as an employee champion and change agent. The successful candidate seeks to develop integrated solutions and formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees. 

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Partner with managers on organizational planning, performance management, employee engagement and development, team effectiveness, and developing best practices to promote employee engagement.
  • Facilitate and drive key annual processes including goal setting and performance review process, promotion, and talent management.
  • Provide guidance and input on business units’ organizational structure and workforce planning.
  • Identify development solutions and provides consulting to leaders and employees on how to effectively accelerate professional development (i.e. on the job exposure, strategic assignments, coaching).
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and recommends disciplinary actions, as needed, with supervisors.
  • Consults with business leaders in the development of engagement action plans in alignment with their future business trends.
  • Provide regular reports on key HR metrics, identifying trends and recommending action plans as needed.
  • Other ad hoc projects as assigned.

 

To Qualify for the role, you will have:  

  • 7+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role
  • 10+ years of experience in a progressive HR role
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Human Resources or related field of study preferred.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 days per week preferred.

  • Willing and able to be hands-on in executing programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have presentation experience.
