US Regulatory Sales Specialist

The Opportunity: This individual will be responsible for proactively working through sales opportunities for ACA’s market leading Regulatory Compliance business unit. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the financial services and private fund industry, regulatory compliance, and the competitive landscape within the registered investment adviser and registered investment company space. This position is also responsible for working with ACA’s Sales and Marketing teams to develop sales and marketing strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain a healthy working knowledge of the regulatory environment, including understanding the SEC’s focus areas, examination outcomes, enforcement actions, and rule proposals.
- Connect with prospects and clients to build meaningful relationships that foster trust and loyalty.
- Act as a credible and trusted subject matter expert by speaking at the same level of sophisticated compliance and regulatory buyers;
- Assess, evaluate, and propose technical solutions according to client needs and constraints;
- Confidently present ACA’s offerings, services, and pricing to financial services industry prospects and clients.
- Receive opportunities from Account Executive and successfully and diligently see them to closure.
- Negotiate engagement terms with prospects and clients.
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of the sales process to guide prospect opportunities to successful closure.
- Proactively analyze the sales process, identify areas for improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency of the sales cycle.
- Gather insights from the commercial team regarding client interactions, service/product challenges and industry trends. Use feedback to refine commercial strategies and provide input for development.
- Work with your team to conduct and report detailed data analysis to identify additional market opportunities for potential and existing ACA products and services.
- Partner with ACA executives on business development priorities and key sales initiatives.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals quarter after quarter.
To Qualify for the role, you will have:
- Master’s and/or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 8+ years of experience in client success, account management or a related role
- Experience working with or selling professional services to registered investment advisers and registered investment companies.
