The Opportunity: 

As a senior business analyst you will be responsible for acting as the main facilitator between the ComplianceAlpha engineering, product and customer facing teams. This is a high impact role which will ensure that our software development lifecycle keeps moving forward and that our road map goals are met. This role will require you to collaborate with many stakeholders including the product leadership team, sales and marketing and engineering to produce meaningful results and great software. 

 

 

  • Highly desired locations: New York City, Pittsburgh, Chattanooga, Boston, Chicago, Florida (Boca Raton, Miami), San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Houston.
  • Note: This role will likely move to a hybrid role in the future.

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Partner with our product managers to gather business requirements, create business process flows, and write detailed user stories. 
  • Facilitate scrums, grooming sessions and other meetings 
  • Work closely with the product engineering team to analyze and clarify requirements and understand product feasibility 
  • Perform analysis on business issues and propose solutions to solve issues 
  • Identify, manage, resolve and track client issues as they arise using various agile development toolsets such as Confluence and Jira 
  • Assist in the creation of product documentation and training materials for internal and external use 
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings 
  • Perform user acceptance testing to help validate releases 
  • Supervise, train, evaluate, oversee, and provide feedback to junior colleagues 
  • Help drive SDLC best practices across the organization 
  • Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have: 

  • 5+ years of experience supporting a SaaS business model 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, computer science, information technology, math, or related field preferred 
  • Demonstrated success at helping launch a brand-new product. 
  • Regulatory Compliance experience preferred 
  • Excellent communication and requirement gathering skills 
  • Highly organized and effective planning and prioritizing skills 
  • Working knowledge of database concepts and SQL preferred 
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies (Atlassian, Confluence, Wiki and/or JIRA) 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements 
  • Demonstrated professional integrity  
  • Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs 
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment 
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks
